So worth reblogging
I need to write it all out.
Nailed it. With a hangover.
based on my recent reblogs, it’s on my to-do list to make illustrations of the local flora and fauna. it will only make my vision of morphing into charles darwin more real.
My painting for A Saga In The Stars: A Tribute Event To A Galaxy Far, Far Away, which took place at Nucleus Gallery in L.A this past Saturday (May 4th). I believe it’s still available to purchase. If you’re interested, contact the Gallery. You can see a little process animation on my site.

infyooshuns is so overrated and i can’t get enough of it. next time you order a Joshua crepe tell them to go easy on the cheese. it makes the world of a difference. i also like it when they hold back on the pesto topping and the sauce inside. they’re super heavy-handed with their sauce at the tamuning location.
i’m so happy my family is back and i can do some hardcore catching up with my homework. and i can do more self reflection.
can’t wait till the semester ends so i can get my ass back to running. im gonna need it before archaeology boot camp starts.
crossing my fingers i get everything done before tomorrow night at 1030. i want to make that OMFG show at old traditions. such a silly name for an event, but its original music from some local bands and live music makes me so happy.
last night i studied and had a beer at the same time. my waiter was sweet enough to pay for it. what a darn sweetheart. also, the grandpa from that play Elderly’s in Exile was doing something super important on his laptop and it was kind of exciting to see him in action in his natural habitat. i was so tempted to say, “youre the guy from that play! you were so great!” but i held my tongue. hehe. he did tell me i was sweet when i returned the little toddlers sandal to his parents. haha. they were a japanese family and the toddler almost walked away with only one sandal. so cute. i was so tempted to just let him walk away like that because it was so darn cute.
well, pancake people. wish me luck. au revoir virtual world.

A Collection is a year-long series of small gridded paintings updated bimonthly. If you’d like to see the progress so far, take a look.
fruit
Nothing like a little alcohol and anthropology to start off your morning.
As in, traces… in my kombucha.
In the computer lab, breaking all the rules.
Tricks, nai.
To make my statistics presentation actually fun.
Give me a little kick and an interesting cultural anthropology article and I can get math done.
Sorry. I know that ‘nai’ insert was gross, but I think that’s the kombucha’s doing. It’s not the first time I blurted embarassing phrase-words/acronyms when im drinking a little. Beer has actually made me utter “YOLO.” Yup. How embarrassing. I feel sorry for you to witness the sad utterance come out of my stupid mouth.
I found this article from the Journal of the Polynesian Society to relate my statistics project to. It’s about Animal domestication in Papua New Guinea and it goes perfect with the data I found from a different source. Fun!

I dreamt that it died. Wow.
I don’t necessarily feel the same way about everything I wrote about in that essay.
On repeat.
