tutmondigo asked: Its most often recommended to NOT compost pet waste because it does have the potential to be a vector for diseases that can be passed to humans. However, if your pet is disease free then that potential is minimized. I personally wouldn't compost dog poop normally. In this case I'd just make sure the batch is well composted before using it.
